PSG remain tight-lipped on details after a horrendous summer transfer window that saw them bagging big stars. Luis Campos is actually preparing a new exit campaign for undesirables who are no longer part of the project. Here are the names!
In a single summer, PSG sent away Sergio Ramos, Marco Verratti, Neymar and Lionel Messi. A strategy that was unthinkable just a few months ago… But Paris wants to change course and is doing what is necessary to stop shining around the stars of world football. The goal now is to build a successful team, a group capable of winning everything. And for that Luis Campos feels no feelings. After a muscular summer, the winter promises to be very hectic as far as departures are concerned.
Ekitike, this way east
PSG and Luis Campos have been preparing a big cleaning for the winter transfer window for several weeks. Starting with the big flop of the year: Hugo Ekitike. The French striker was bought at a high price from Stade de Reims and thought he could win in Paris alongside Kylian Mbappé. But the move is clearly too high for him… Randal Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos were signed this summer, ending Ekitike’s last hopes of playing a part in Paris. If he did not find a base last August, this time Paris will not evoke any sentiment. Hugo Ekitike must go. Frankfurt, Wolfsburg and Wolverhampton are three popular tracks.
Undesirables who must leave immediately
Two other players have already packed their bags and can’t even hope to stay in Paris. First of all, it is Layvin Kurzawa, left back. The Frenchman has fallen out of favor amid injuries and performances that are far from acceptable for PSG. Six months before the end of his contract, the former Monaco must find a new challenge. Luis Campos doesn’t want him anymore. Problem: There’s no rush at the gate to sign it! At 31 years old, Kurzawa has a very high salary and has not offered a sports guarantee for several seasons. The bet is more than risky…
Renato Sanches, the suffering continues
Luis Campos’ latest insurance policy goes by the name of Renato Sanches. The Portuguese midfielder, on loan at Roma, is expected to return to Paris this winter. José Mourinho no longer wants to hear from him and has asked to cancel his loan spell. The problem is that PSG do not want to see him in their squad even for the second part of the season… So Renato Sanches has to consider another option than Paris. Leads in Türkiye are underway, but none are concrete yet…
